Evening all,

I’m looking for a gaming laptop to take with me when I’m away working, I am losing my mind looking to find refresh rates as so many sites don’t give the full specs. The only laptops I’ve found who post refresh rates are the ASUS models.

So here I am looking for help! The laptop will mainly be used to play CSGO (competitively hence high refresh rate wanted), LoL, PUBG.

MIN REQ:
Don’t want bigger than 15.6” screen
Refresh rate 120hz or better
8gb ram (prefer 16 but if I can upgrade myself that’s fine)
SSD
And obviously able to play csgo well (not bothered about it looking great)

Budget is up to £850 but cheaper the better, as its not going to be used when I am home.

TIA

If you can stretch your budget slightly to 899, there are some cracking 3750H/RTX2060 laptop deals with 120Hz screens on for Black Friday/Pre-Black Friday Sales, if you look around. Obviously these will only be available this week, maybe until Monday, but will end after then.

ASUS TUF FX505DV 15.6" 120Hz Thin Bezel Laptop AMD R7-3750H, RTX 2060 6GB, 512GB PCI-e SSD, 16GB RAM

Seems pretty much perfect for you, and definately worth the stretch...

I am personally holding on in hopes of a 2070 laptop coming up around the £1200 mark on Black Friday (has to be laptop for wife acceptance factor...and she would want one too).
