What games will that run if any?

There is a reasonable amount of games which will run on it thanks to the likes of Rosetta, etc. - but it isn't even in the same league as a high end Windows gaming laptop for overall compatibility or performance.

I dunno what he is smoking TBH - though I do expect to see some shake up of laptop gaming in the next few years that is pretty much irrelevant to anyone buying a gaming laptop now.

What kind of shake up? I mean gaming laptops are gaming laptops. They are expensive and apple is essentially for top revenue earners or people that think they are top revenue earners. I don't see them suddenly offering a better gaming experience than Lenovo Legion or Razer for half the price now. Do they even make "gaming" screens. Most gaming laptops now are 120hz - 300hz. Surely apple would want £5K for a gaming laptop?

What kind of shake up?

I can't really be specific but with the likes of Valve, Apple, Amazon, etc. taking a long hard look at higher end mobile gaming I expect to see some changes down the road.

But completely irrelevant to what suits the OP here and now.
