I want to buy the Logitech G9 but i am put off it by the fact it looks so big! I only have small hands so im wondering if it will be too big?

What gaming mouse would best suit small hands?

Sorry if these sounds stupid, Ben.

best bet is if you can go to a store and try a few out to see how they feel. not tried a G9 personally but recommend the logitechs in general. Great mice

I use a Logitech G5 and it's actually much smaller than pictures make it appear to be.

I imagine that the G9 will be about the same size, and if you look carefuly you'll see the cable in the picture which gives you some idea of scale. :)

I bought a G9 to replace a Razer Diamondback and if anything, I find the mouse a little small. Here are a couple pictures I took to compare size. The G9 comes with two 'skins'. The one in the pictures is the wide one. tbh though, the mouse feels a lot smaller than it looks. Also, it's not quite as wide as it looks in the first picture. The button on the left is where the side of the mouse is. The space after is the thumb rest.

Ah interesting thanks. Out of those 3 mouse - which do you prefer?

im thinking of getting a MX518 what do u guys think of this mouse???

confortable and responsive? my hands are kinda big :P

mx518 will be good, not really many people who dont find them comfy!
Same size shape etc as a hell of a lot of other logitech gaming mice.
Iv got the mx500 and G7 and they are very comfy.
Took me while to get to G7, wish I hadnt bought it really though, the batterys are a joke.
My mx500 was falling apart though(it was my 3rd warranty replacement!! - not due to bad design, just getting absolutely cained haha.)

I love my Diamondback, but then I'm not a fan of asymmetric mice. Had mine 2 years and the only problem is that I'm starting to wear away the rubberised coating on one of the buttons. Will replace with another Razor eventually I reckon...

At first, I was wishing my diamondback wouldn't have died. Then after a few days of using the G9, I got used to it and now I actually like it more than I did my diamondback.

- Comfortable.
- Side buttons are easy to use.
- You can give the DPI buttons a crazy number of presets. I only use 3 myself.
- Stores profiles on the mouse itself you don't technically need any special drivers. You do need to set the profiles up through their software though.

The only thing I miss about my diamondback is the ultra smooth scroll wheel. I don't really need the free spinning wheel setting on the G9 so I have it set to click and I just liked the diamondbacks wheel better.

I just got the Razer Lachesis and it's absoloute heaven to use, much more comfortable than my copperhead and 4000DPI is very welcome aswell as the faster response time

I bought a Logitech MX1000 a while ago and im still in love with it.

When you put your hand on it, feels like it was built to fit perfectly:cool:
