Gaming Mouse

I've ordered the Deathadder Respawn. I will let you know how I get on with it.

The middle mouse button on the logitechs doesn't do anything for me. My daily mouse (Performance MX) has a pretty unconvincing middle mouse click.

Yey, you won't regret it.
DeathAdder for the win. :)

What about decent wireless mice? Ive always used a cheap one from Tesco. Anyone got a preference? Costing no more that £30.

If it's for serious gaming I'd tend to stick with a wired mouse. I used to have a wireless mouse/keyboard combo and it would lag and sometimes lose signal. Razer do a wireless gaming mouse, but at a ridiculous cost :p If the above isn't too important then a decent logitech mouse won't go wrong, but I've not exactly tried many.

Recently bought a Roccat Kone which i think is pretty good, might be slightly over the £40 budget but i find its pretty good for the money.

Im not sure what serious gaming is. But since ive been using cheap Tesco mice for years i dont think im all that serious ;).

Using my Razer Mamba since yesterday and I love it. In game I can't notice a difference between wired and wireless mode - using it on the goliathus control edition mat

There should be a sticky that simply says

MX518 - BUY IT!

Best mouse ever. In the world. Ever.

Basically would you be bothered by a little bit of lag in gaming, i.e. you move the mouse and the pointer doesn't follow instantly, also the signal dropping out for a few seconds. These only happen every now and again, not all the time. Just response time isn't as good as a wired mouse, unless you get the razer mamba. So in game it can sometimes get frustrating, as it did with me.

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3

Very good mice the Intellimouse Explorer series, been through a few since they first appeared.

But if your looking for something a little more special, I can highly recommend the Razer Deathadder, flawless bit of kit, good for people with larger than average hands, fantastic customer support. On my 2nd one atm :).

I was a "professional" gamer for about 5 years and I always used the Intellimouse 3.0.

It's simply the best.

Bought a Razer Imperator last week from here after having the original Diamondback for 6 years, which still works btw, I just fancied the Imp!

Razer build quality has been good for me.

I don't see why you wouldn't use them? I believe the software enables you to tweak the DPI and control the lights on the mouse.

ive got the microsoft sidewinder £45 quid one with spare feet and adjustable weights etc but i dont like it, its too big!

i got my mate a logitech 518 for about £25 i wish id got one for myself instead of the MS one...

so im currently staying with my wireless logitdch mx1000 job.
