Sup guys.

Been trying to decide which mouse to buy, and im just going in circles. The last one i had was a Razer Copperhead, and i loved it, but i basically wore the buttons out. Ive also done the same with this wireless logitech laptop mouse im using now.

Basically i want something that will last a good while, can be used comfortably with either claw or palm grip, and preferably glows red - but thats the least important thing. Ill wont be playing any specific type of game, and ive never been a fan of macro'ing stuff to the mouse anyway.

Budget is anything up to £50. Anyone got any recommendations? The steelseries diablo 3 mouse is winning me over at the moment.

Cheers all ;)

Have you considered the R.A.T. 5. It may look a bit strange but is quite comfortable to use and has some good features such as an adjustable weight system and extending rear palm rest.

For a low price I have a Sharkoon Fireglider it's got a nice grip and feel to it and it served me well but I would deffinately pay a bit more for the Razer DeathAdder; I had a go with my friends the other week and it's incredibly smooth and accurate. I find other mouses a bit jumpy for my liking.... or is that this bent wooden table ¬_¬ hmhm

Recently picked up one of these and seems fairly good, very similiar to the WMO 1.1a which is good... its slightly smaller than the WMO 1.1a tho which sucks a bit as if it was identical sized it would be a great replacement for that legendary mouse.

EDIT: It also seems quite similiar to the DeathAdder except unlike the deathadder it doesn't taper outwards at the front which I always found awkward to hold - it has a very similiar style/feel to the optical sensor and the same kinda feel of balance.

Thanks guys. I reckon its between the deathadder black edition, or the steelseries d3 - ive looked at all the others mentioned in the past and was pretty set on the RAT5 at one point, but i want something a bit more subtle haha. Im not in any rush to buy so its given me a bit to think about :)

I have heard the original Deathadder is better than the respawn apparently because of the way the laser operates. I don't know how much truth is in that but there was a pretty big thread about it.

The amount of mice i owned & Amount of times I have had to RMA is unreal. I had my Steelseries Sensei for a bit now and the sensor/build Quality is perfect.

The sensei seems to be getting a lot of love so ill definitely consider spending the extra 10ish quid. Anyone got an opinion on the sensei raw? Looks kinda cool but i wouldnt really want the gloss one thats on overclockers right now.

I suggest you get the sensei raw. The sensei raw doesn't have the led internals that the regular sensei does, so it is a bit lighter. Consider the kana and kinzu v2 as well, they are both good mice. SS gets a lot of hate by people who claim the sensors are bad, this isn't necessarily true. The sensors do have a slight positive accel but this is more of a preference thing rather than the sensors being bad, at any rate you will get used to it quickly. I have a sensei, and before that i had a kinzu and i have enjoyed both very much :)

Yeah the Sensei Raw rubberised looks like a good buy. Might have been tempted instead of my Pro if it was out when I got mine.

Seems more like a direct replacement for the XAI, rather than having all those lights.

This would be recommendation, and I can highly recommend it as I've just bought one!

Great little mouse. Excellent build quality and grip as it feels really comfortable in your hand. Movement with it is also very smooth. Out of stock at the moment but I'm sure It'll be back in soon.

Was eyeing that one for ages. I might make the jump. 5K is good, but a bit heavy an big.

I personally have had really bad experiences with Roccat, my Kone V1 had a dodgy mousewheel, after an RMA my new one had the same problem.

Christmas last year ordered a Roccat Kave headset, mic became faulty after 3 weeks use \:
