Gaming Mouse?

Was eyeing that one for ages. I might make the jump. 5K is good, but a bit heavy an big.

Yeah am loving this mouse. It is quite small though, basically a bit like the Intellimouse 1.1. Perfect for my hand size though and is nice and lightweight too. The only thing that I'm a bit dubious about is the scroll wheel. It just seems to be a bit flimsy considering the overall excellent build quality of the mouse. Overall though I'm very happy with it.

I'm looking at a Razer Deathadder Respawn myself but is it worth spending the extra to get a Razer Mamba 2012 Wireless; I'd really like to go wireless as my sharkoon fireglider always gets caught behind the desk :-(

So, bit of an impulse buy, I got the Roccat Kone [+] gaming mouse. I already have a Rat5 and the Razer Naga, both really good gaming mice. Been playing with the Roccat now for a couple of days and it seems really good (with the weights in). Its very customisable and has the ‘Easyshift’ feature so that you can double up buttons. The led lights add a little style to the mouse, the thing I found very good is the TDCU feature, it scans your playing surface and then adjusts the sensor to suit your mat, feels really very responsive.

Don’t know if anyone else uses it, would be interested to hear your views if you do use one :)..

i got a death adder and its a nice mouse for sure was conidering the rat 5 as a try out

only problem with the death adder the surface on the top the matt type finish does go thin after a lot of usage but i guess nothing lasts for ever

wouldnt go wireless tbh cable mice always seem more responsive..

Thanks for the tip I tried out my deathadder; I do like my sharkoon though I would like something with a DPI switch and I would love a Razer Mamba. I like my sharkoon because I can switch to 400 dpi while sniping and get really accurate shots. At 1200 dpi it's too jumpy! I find the deathadder really smooth though even at it's standard 1800dpi and it's accurate and not jumpy. I considered the rat 7 but there are plenty of other mice that are already the correct shape of my hand. Must just have the average gaming sized hands :-)

u can on the fly use death adder to change sensitivity i have mine set to rear left hand mouse button held in and scroll up or down to adjust

That sounds like a good setting! I like the look of the taipan and it has it's own dpi switches but how comfortable is it; I'm used to have a curvature for my hand where I like to place my thumb and sometimes like to grip the mouse very tight!

i think you get used to a certain feel of mouse razer diamond back or was it copperhead was my fave with the led strip around the sides same feel as deathadder but soft rubber led strip couldnt get a replacement so went for the death adder last time

they just feel right i am tempted by a rat tho may get one to try

I just got a G500 and I'm happy with it.

Thought of getting a cyborg rat 9 but it was kind of expensive. Really like the shape of this mouse, only niggles - weight system seems pointless its heavy enough without weights and adding weights doesn't affect the feel of the mouse significantly enough. Also theres a extra button below the two side buttons which I haven't set up to do anything in the software. Just seems like I'd press it accidentally all the time when playing a game.

Great mouse if you're on a budget I understand you're looking for "the best" but I can't see there being much of a divide between this and a top of the range mouse tbh.

i dont like mice with to many side buttonts tbh 2 on either side are plenty i reckon to easy when getting irate to hit the wrong ones imo id rather use touchpads..

^ Seen the razer naga? lol.

I don't see how you could use any of those buttons for forward/back you'd just keep hitting the wrong ones.

I LOVE the aesthetics of the two corsair mice, corsair have a epic design team. All their products look amazing.

The M60 I'd be more interested in though, is the M90 comfortable to hold?

What would be a good wireless every day use mouse be guys, im using a razor chaos at the moment the old green one.
Think it is 16Dpi so its time to upgrade, i do play games also but it has to be a wireless :)
