Looking for a decent gaming mouse but have no idea what Im looking for tbh. Dont want to spend a silly amount so a budget of around £60ish.

Only stipulation is it must be black to match my Corsair case and Steelseries keyboard.

I have large hands and am pretty heavy handed so something sturdy and not small is a must :)

Cheers

ive fairly large hands
and found the logitech g700 and steal series diablo small
fount the razer naga hard to get the side buttons as my thumb coves 4 at once plus that also felt small

the only mouse ive found perfect was the roccat kone and im kinda thinking of getting the roccat kone xtd for my next mouse or a saitek cyborg but not sure which to get

I think you're right, its too small.

I thought I was adapting to it but its just giving me cramp.

Oh well back to the performance mx

I have a Rat 9 aswell but its a ergonomic nightmare.

Does the Kone have the mouse wheel scrolling issue where it just gets stuck?
I have a Cyborg RAT and would highly recommend.

the first kone had a mouse wheel problem and the 2nd as well

but from what people are saying the kone xtd has the best mouse wheel ever

personaly my mouse wheels never broke it was the weight system that broke on mine but i did use it for 2 years

but i can say roccat software is amazing nothing else comes close

How about the new Shogun Bros Ballsta Mk1.

Lots of features including changing the DPI on the fly, various game modes to assign macros or button presses and a great feel. £50

For a decent, simple mouse I'd second the Logitech g400, seems to do everything i want in a mouse for the price and is very nice to hold, for me anyway.

I would also recommend Razer Deathadder (Had both versions - 1.8 (I had it for around 4 years - work flawlessly until I've accidently damages it) and 3.5).
Chris - how is G700, and do you have any issues with lag / connection (as its a wireless mouse).

I have a Roccat Kone XTD. It's a great mouse for me, software is great too but is buggy sometimes. Works most of the time though. Looks sleek too with the colour lighting.

I had a Kone - It broke, quickly. Roccat support was trash, as a result I will never buy a Roccat product ever again.

RAT 7 Next - Loved it as a mouse, loved the software and additional scroll wheel. Used the profiles and it did everything I wanted

I got a twitch to try a new mouse though and as I am playing less MMOs at the moment and more FPS I wanted something more pure.

I opted for a Razer DeathAdder 2013. Never been a fan of Razer but I could not find anything else that rocked an optical sensor that provided perfect tracking with the right balance of other desirables - Things like size, aesthetics, software.

The only one downside is the Deathadder could use an extra button or 2. Mainly to give something to use for on the fly DPI switching (which you have to sacrifice one of the already few 5 buttons for) or profile switching. Otherwise it is an absolute joy to use, the tracking is reliable, smooth and pinpoint sharp. My FPS game has improved MASSIVELY since swapping to it, very happy.
