I know I made a thread earlier for an Office PC spec, and thanks, got it on order. :D

Now I've finally decided that I want to build a gaming PC with my spare cash, I was going to do it a couple of weeks ago but I had to think it through, now I'm sure I want to build a new gaming PC.

My budget is strictly a maximum of £450, so getting as close as possible to this would be nice.

Any suggestions on what to get? I don't plan on playing too many system heavy games tbh, I just want something that I wont have to upgrade for a while.

Cheers

Something like that. Make cuts where appropriate. Might be worth waiting for DX11 cards either way.

Pretty good motherboard and RAM you have there. There's a slightly cheaper motherboard for AM3, but it's only like £3 and it doesn't support crossfire. You could go AM2+ but that doesn't leave much room for upgrades... the best place to loose some money i think would be the graphics card, but as i said i'd wait for DX11. This is slightly cheaper, and if you look around you can find a good £10 optical drive. Try and get free delivery, or get somewhere with free delivery.
