Can you wait 3 weeks?Hello,
I'm looking for the best gaming PC with a budget of £2000, can someone point me in the right direction?
I don't have a clue how to build one I'm new to this so would prefer the whole package
For your budget, definitely.Yes I can wait until July if its more beneficial
A £2000 gaming base unit? You would be looking at 27" ~£400 (even more depending on quality/size/resolution) monitor to compliment it properly...I just need the Tower, i can pay extra for a monitor if its not loads more
@orbitalwalsh - can demonstrate a very tidy INTEL build - but keep it as a 'place holder' for comparison to that of the Ryzen 3000 (Zen 2) releases after the 7th and reviews. Then you won't suffer from buyer's remorse...Yeah £2000 gaming base unit, and a £400 27". Work your magic

You're off the leash Orbi
We have very different definitions of fun - I made the mistake of posting late on a Friday night. The skin on my forehead has only just started healing.Been mulling around the CPU threads as it's to much fun.
Yep - type the following:How do i bump it? do i just reply on the 7th? Thanks for both your time also
lolYep - type the following:
Oi! @orbitalwalsh - spec me a Ryzen 3800X/3900X build with the best bang for buck quality x570 (it will be a Gigabyte) and ~3600MHz memory plus high end GPU and quality 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor for £2000 (monitor not included in price). Or, i'll start breaking 360mm RGB AIOs...
*He'll soon turn up

Well, i can think of a couple of members who you will have strong opinions on this before their brain engages.HAHA - might have to start dropping random rumors for the heck of it now . wondering if i can spin a 4 core unlocked 10nm being released with the rest of the 10 core chips that are 14nm ... mmmmm
No way to address your, Dad!cheeky sod
OP - ^^^important when comparing - if you're confused we'll clarify.Roughly - Hoping for 15% uplift on Gigabyte/Aorus boards from Z390 - now dollor to Pound can effect this GREATLY . so what I'll do is had a higher model board then the one that could be chosen for x570 to get the price increase . So i've selected the z390 Pro Wifi to hopefully reflect X570 Elite price
*cough* navigate the CPU forum and read his teeny-tiny font posts *cough*cant say much on Navi RX 5700 without getting a slapped wrist , but everyone was hoping it would have been cheaper - all i can say on that bit

VERY ROUGHLY ! was given a base of 15% increase for a vendor but having a feeling thats going to become what they wished... though I dont believe this **** about 60% rise from Z390 boards
Ryzen 3700x = $330 - convert to £ is £260 - add your VAT ( god i hope if this brexit thing goes through VAT will go back down to 17.5 etc lol) and you land at £312 !
Ryzen 3800x = $399 - £314 + VAT £377
Ryzen 3900x = $504 - £396 + VAT £475
New ryzen works out $21 per thread, Intel closets is 9900 non K at $27 ! ouch
