Hi,

I'm looking to buy my first build with a budget of £800 in mind. This includes everything including a monitor, keyboard and speakers.

This PC will mainly be used for gaming with light surfing. The games I have an interest in playing are Oblivion, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, Anno 1404, Civ V, the Total War games (including Shogun 2 when its released), all of Valves source games.

I have put together a build and I need your opinions on whether this will be suitable and give me the best performance possible with my budget:

Thanks!

I'd swap the i3 for an i5 760 and to finance that just change the gfx card to a normal 460, that super OC one not worth it, you're almost in 470 territory with that price

Thanks for the updates. With regards to the i5, would I notice any difference in performance compared to an i3@4ghz? Bearing in mind I could always upgrade the CPU and mobo later on?

This is good but get a XFX 650w instead.

also that case only comes with one fan so you will need to get atleast 1, i.e. rear, maybe another one for top.

I would get a 22" if you don't really need a 24", less resolution means you can run games on higher settings.
