Gaming PC

1 rule is never buy a GAMING PC from a place like Pc World, Currys, Comet, staples etc.... they suck badly, as much as it's tempting, resist it. You burning money, they SUCK, everytime you think about buying it, tell yourself it SUCKS!

Pre built OCUK systems are awful value also(sorry but they are!), so don't listen to these guys. A few sites that offer good custom built gaming for value. Just google "gaming pc's".

I really wish people would read a thread before replying, always garuntee some clown pops on and says build it yourself....

Majority don't want hassle or don't have time to fiddle about building a computer.

Really? They charge circa £100 for putting it all together (less on cheaper builds) compared to the cost of the individual components, often OCing it for you too. As you say some people who dont want the hassle of doing it all themselves, if you're in that group of people this seems a very reasonable amount to me

Pricing of some of those AMD Overclocked systems are a joke. One or two sites that will overclock for you, for around £50 extra.

And the Intel systems seem to carry a £150+ premium on them.

I wanted to buy one off here, but much as i try to deluded myself it is worth it, i went eslewhere.

Ive been shopping round for months comparing prices, i think i grabbed myself a "bargain".

Too many people rush into buying these rigs.
