Gaming ram

one thing i dont understand is ram what it does or how it works :eek:

, its the one thing letting my computer down i have 2 gig or corsair value select ram cheap and good performance well kinda, but for gaming its not that great im looking for gaming ram that performs well when i overclock my cpu to 3.2ghz when the rest of my watercooling kit comes. So whats good gaming ram ?

I'd go for either the crucial anniversary, team xtreem or the cellshock. All perform very similarly and priced at £199, you won't be dissapointed with any of them

thanks, whats the dominator ram like ? i was looking into these OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 from ocuk.

The dominator uses promo ic's that are not as highly recommended as the d9's the others use see This well used list for more info. Ocuk do have some great deals on the ocz ram at the moment and that maybe the best price/performance option
