Would i need to put thermal paste on the CPU ?? or should i just stick with the stock stuff?
As part of the weekly offer on the processor, a tube of Prolimatech PK-1 Nano Aluminium is included. And the cooler should also come with stock paste. I'm guessing the Prolimatech will be better, so you need a means to clean the stock paste on the cooler before applying the new paste. You can use 90% Isopropyl Alcohol (pharmacy or supermarket), or invest in this stuff, which is quite good:

Total : £10.90 (includes shipping : £3.26).
Then apply a pea-size amount (and don't think "well a bit more than that will be better" - it isn't) smack in the centre of the CPU, press the contact plate of the heatsink onto it and start screwing each screw in turn, little by little, so the paste spreads evenly.
Also, be careful when handling the processor. Hold it by the sides, and take care when placing it in the motherboard CPU socket so that you don't bend any pins.
Any more questions, feel free to ask.
Also can i get a Antistatic wrist strap from overclockers
Can ask them if you like but you don't need it. Just ground yourself by touching the metal (not the plastic) of the case often, or the PSU (plug it in but have the power turned off). And avoid building in rooms with carpets (especially new carpets).
