Gaming Rig

The Corsair should be able to handle it, their a good brand, but for future proofing youd want to go for something a little more powerful.

The 450W PSU will run that rig fine, but if you have £30 extra to spare, it definitely wouldn't be a bad idea to go for one in the 600W region for the sake of future-proofing.

i just realised i cold do this

it works out a few pound cheaper and (i think) the ocuk guys build the barebones system?could be wrong though

ye it is 50 pound dearer but ur spec has free shipping and charged 15% VAT...im irish so im charged dearer shipping and 21% VAT:(...other than that...is all i have in that spec ok?

I built this system 2 years ago, maybe more:
Asus A8N-SLi Premium mobo
Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 1mg L2 cache
1 gig of DDR400
Asus N6800GT+ 256mg grfx
450W PSU
Fatality soundcard 64mg (Game)

That PC plays CoD4 very nicely indeed!

I would think that Pentium wouldn't OC that high, but it should be enough for what he needs it for. Interesting seeing how cheap you can make a system these days, I'm still buying bits for mine and I've gone over the £600 mark easily and I've still got a few bits to add :(

My e5200 overclocked very nicely, but I think it might be luck of the draw :D

na im going to go with intel over amd....what sorta speeds would be achievable with stock cooler on e5200?

I never tried mine with a stock cooler, but I'd imagine 3-3.2ghz would be easily achievable with stock cooling.

I managed 3.8ghz on mine with an Artic Freezer 7 Pro :)
