gaming spec £1100

Hello Guys

I am looking to return to pc gaming with a Budget of £1100

I want a fast system that will last me a few years , also a system which can handel Call Of Duty 4 & Crysis with ease .

I want to use 4GB on my system , i will not be overclocking my system

No Keyboard or mouse as not needed

You might want to wait a week or two until we start getting more info on the new 8800GTS. It should be faster than the GTX and will probably cost a lot less as well. Can't really fault the rest of it though. And I've got an antec nine hundred and even though it might be on the slightly noisy side (I have it running right next to me rather than under my desk), it's a fantastic case for the money and really does keep thing cool. Great spec Samione

Didn't even know there was a new gts coming out :eek: got any links to any info on it?

Well as far as I know there's like hardly any info surrounding it whatsoever :( Apparently it's coming out towards the end of this month, and the only reason they're doing a new one is cos the new 8800gt surpasses the old GTS's, and if the 8800gt is apparently only 10% slower than a GTX, then people are assumin the new GTS will either be just as good as or better than a GTX.

You could try fudzilla but they're not the most reliable source of info lol :)

Should be some info hanging around somewhere though

Sorry mate, but nothing available can handle Crysis with "ease" right now, especially when you don't want to overclock. Although I suppose that depends on what you mean by "handle" :)

I would also agree with closeratio and hold fire to see what the G92 version of the GTS can do though... that's what I'm doing.

Also, I take it you require an OS?
 
off Samione's spec you'll at least need to add a cpu cooler as he listed the OEM processor.

also as mentioned go 8800GT rather than GTX or wait to see about the new GTS.

O/S wise it will have to be 64 bit to use the 4gb, would go for vista 64 bit premium tbh.
