ThanksIn reality all M2 SSDs are fast as ****.
Even the cheaper ones are incredibly fast!
Thanks
So I have also found this

Would this be better than the Sabrent Rocket Q?
Thanks, yeah I noticed the Q version is not as good, just after the best SSD for around £100 either M2 or 2.5Rocket is faster.
Edit the Rocket Q isnt the same as the normal rocket. I'd take the WD drive.
They should have called it as "War against drive space" or "Drive space warfare".COD MW has basically wiped out the 250gb Evo lol
Well done. At least you've now got the best one of the bunch.Damn it!
I stumped up the extra £20 quid for the Sabrent Rocket 1TB
TLC.
Yeah, only thing left to decide is if to use it as drive C, partition it or just use it as a games drive for Steam etcWell done. At least you've now got the best one of the bunch.

That's correct but let's just say in the future I get another M2 drive with similar or better speed then I would notice.Reality is unless you're copying large files between storage devices that can actually get anywhere near those speeds, you're not going to notice any real speed or responsiveness difference.

+1Whilst it is considered normal that the fastest drive is the boot drive I would be tempted to use the new one as my games library. To me time booting the PC doesn't bother me too much, as long as it's reasonable but when I launch a game I'm often sat there, controller in hand wishing it would get into the game.
That sounds good, pretty much what I'd do with those drives.+1
I'm going to be building my new rig soon and these are the drives I have with what I'm thinking of having on them:
-Samsung 850 evo 500gb (OS, Applications that run on boot & frequently used eg. Anti Virus, Web Browser etc)
-WD Green 240gb (Standard Applications used from time to time eg. Word processor, IDE) - This will be the least used drive so i like the fact it uses so little power when dormant, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter though
-WD Blue m.2 NVMe 1tb (Games, Games & more Games)
-Samsung F3 500g HDD (Media Storage) - Although I'm debating on just using cloud storage, plus I already have a Nas.
Sorry to HiJack, does that sound sensible?
