My computer desk is a very small and the keyboard and mouse are on a tray that pulls out. Due to this I'm quite limited with what I can fit on it. All of the wide surfaces are far too wide to fit in. What choices do I have? Cutting presumably frays the edge and will eventually ruin it but would one be ok if it was folded over itself on the bit below the keyboard?

EDIT

This one for example is the perfect size depth wise but about a foot too wide:

i have very limited space also so i got the small version of the corsair gaming mm300 cost about £12 if i remember correctly (ocuk dont have any in stock by looks of it but a quick google and you will find it easily) it fits perfect for just using the mouse. 256 x 210 x 3 mm that is its size.

I've gone for the one I linked above. Will fold it short term as will get a new desk in the next couple of months.
