Ok So the deal is, the warranty sticker is essentially there to put off new/inexperienced users from opening the system
I have spoken with Raijintek at length about this as I saw the WV sticker on the unit and gasped myself.
The CEO of Raijintek has basically said that they made the decision to put it on there to stop RMAs because of leaks and improper use.
Whilst the unit is sealed and perfectly safe for a novice user to install, the addition of the dyes into the system is something that should only be tackled by a more experienced system builder.
Essentially, if the unit is damaged because you opened it up and messed it up, then it will be classed as Warranty Void.
If you open it up, add the colour of your choice and then close it back up. then you're golden.
If you are unsure about opening the system or are a real novice then don't bother opening it and just enjoy the performance, but for an experienced user or someone who doesn't need to worry, then you can go right ahead and mod it with the included dyes.
I would go as far to say, that if you wanted to empty it and use something like mayhems pastel in there, then you could.
In fact, I will be offering a Tech Labs version later today with pre filled custom Coolants for people who don't want to bother opening the unit.
Alphacool made the eisberg originally for CoolerMaster. The actual unit doesnt look much different but their UK rep assures me that the pump and internals are different.
I asked if they have sorted the mounting hardware and contact plate leak issues but the question was skirted around.
It isnt something we are looking to bother with again now we have the Triton.
A little further down the line, we will look at offering custom Tritons with different Radiators etc.
