I want to build a gaming system on budget. I want to play 'bad company 2' and games like that.

I'm thinking of using a GALAXY GTX460-OC/1GD as the graphics card, is it a good choice?

Also I have no idea which processor, motherboard chip, how much memory (4gb necessary?)and which version of windows (xp, vista, 7, 32 or 64?) to use.

Please help:confused:

better choice is with the gigabyte graphic card.

the problem is I don't live in England so I can't order off OC. I have to buy everything from xxxxxxxxx in Japan and they don't sell exactly the same stuff.

would a Core i3 i3-530 2.93GHz go well with a GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD5?

or how about

an AthlonⅡ X4 640 and a ASUSTeK M4A87TD EVO

??

Remove the name of the website as it's against the forum rules.

I would go for a quad, something like an i5 or a AMD 955. Unless this is a budget PC and you're not interested in future proofing. Then the i3 is perfectly fine and you're not interested in future proofing.

Take a look at the Gigabyte UD2H mb for the i3 it's a good overclocker and very cheap.

1GB GTX 460 is a great card, get the asus version and overclock it.

Bin Vista for a starters.... Lots of people run Windows XP still but A copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit would do nicely for this build. :) The retail version if you can get it at a good price so that you can transfer it on to another machine. Although it is possible to transfer a OEM copy to another motherboard if you have a MB die on you. :)

I guess it would be silly to ask how much the budget is, in Yen :D

It's probably best to go for a quadcore nowdays, Bad Company 2 is multi-threaded so would benefit your game and future games. You're on the right track with a GTX460.

Also go with Windows 7 :)
