Gangs of London - fans of The Raid and Banshee in here

Caught the trailer for Gangs of London over the weekend - https://www.sky.com/watch/gangs-of-london

From the director of The Raid movies and partially produced by Cinemax who were behind Banshee.

The fighting in the trailer is strongly reminiscent of both. Looks totally over the top and lots of fun

Look pretty good, unfortunately I don't have Sky - will have to wait for a release on other services if at all.

Watched the first one and liked it but really dislike the head of the family, just doesn't seem to fit. The fight scenes seem a bit off to me too, like something out of John Wick or that church scene in Kingsman.

Watching it now done the first two episodes some of the fight scenes are abit over the top and not really believable but its a quality watch still.

I agree, they should have used someone more menacing in the lead role. Staring blankly into space doesn't cut it.

Just started watching this and am enjoying it, the fight scenes in particular are very well done (I like that they're a bit OTT), graphic and brutal! Just finished episode 2.

Peaky blinders junior is killing this for me.
He's putting 100% into some weird accent and forgetting to make appropriate facial expressions.

The rest is formulaic with decent ott fight scenes.

Really bad choice of lead.
