Currently in the process of converting my garage, I need to insulate two external walls, the garage surprisingly is a cavity wall, but from when boiler was replaced and we had the flue out there was no visible insulation and when the garage doors removed there was none visible.
So 100mm PIR is fine, plan was to build stud wall and fill it, but can I just put the PIR and wood straight onto the interior skin or do I need some sort of sheeting in place first? Would it be better just to build the stud wall so it stands off the wall slightly?
Thanks
