Garage floor leveling and finish - help please!

Ahh looks like you do have concrete under there, teach me for not reading the thread first! :o
Just go with some garage floor tiles then. if it's really uneven put some self levelling compound in the bad areas, it doesn't have to be pretty.

Cheers I think I'm going to go with this approach! Should be fairly inexpensive I hope... Not an enormous space.

Are these garage floor tiles/mats safe to drive on to and park on? I don't see why not but you never know. I wouldn't want the car tires to rip the surface up, for example. I guess they will get very squashed very quickly.

Any recommendations for something robust?

Cheers fellas.

Think the missus would chuck me out the house if I turned the garage bright yellow, mate! But thanks for the suggestion! Something of similar thickness seems in order. I've found a couple of 9mm and 12mm mats for sale on the jungle that specifically mention that they are ok for cars, so hopefully one of those will fit the bill.

The grey looking stuff is the chipboard sheets, randal.

DXP55 - that's kind of what I'm thinking to do.... got a link for some decent rubber matting?

Cheers,

I got mine from Countrywide stores a while back - it was smooth top and ribbed underneath. - I cut mine into 2ft squares and put under car wheels then put trolly jack on a piece and jack car up on slabs.
