Neighbor put a fence up around 10 years ago. I got the ugly side but I accepted that as she paid for it etc.

This morning I noticed this.

Before I do anything. Does owning the fence give you the right to do what you wish with the posts in the neigbour's garden on the other side? Could I suddenly find myself with a hanging basket in my garden if it is attached to her post for example?

If it's on your side you can trim the overhanging bit as much as you want, so if it's all on your side it will be a very small plant
The hanging basket example was an exaggeration, it's hosting her washing line that I object to.

I think I'll untie it whilst she has a line full then put that cat poo through her letterbox.
