Now that we've got power to the garden room I need a decent heat source. Ideally a wall mounted electric radiator that I can set to keep the room at a minimum level, probably something like 8-10c to keep the damp off, but then can warm the room to a 'workable' temp when we need it. It's mainly going to be a fancy shed/workshop but also a print studio for my wife, but with irregular usage times. Sometimes we might be in there all day for a few days, and other time in for only an hour or so a week, so I'm looking for something that can be 'on' all the time in case the temp drops below minimum but can then easily and quickly be turned up.

Any experience, recommendations - of brand or type - or ones to avoid gratefully received.

Thanks

A Delonghi Dragon oil filled radiator would do this. You'd need a high wattage one, 2,400W+. They've got timers and thermostats. For a quick warm up, you could couple this with an electric fan heater. The advantage this has over a wall heater is that they can be moved for maximum effect.
