Just watched Garden State, awsome movie
, i did not really understand the point of the plane 'crashing' scene at the very start of the film, with the oxygen masks and everything. As far as i could tell it was never explained, other than briefly when he got on a plane at the end however it seemed unrelated to the opening scene.
Could anyone explain the relevance of it?
