He's also done it only to troll pirates.

There doesn't appear to be any evidence so far that legit buyers have been affected?

in batman to those who got a pirate copy on one of the levels you had to walk a tight rope and you would automatically fall into some acid i think and die.
another priate version was you had t oget out of a room but as soon as the door shut behind you you were locked and couldnt get out (or something very similar to this)

pirates dealed with tages easy enough , codemasters fade technology never seemed to stop anyone.

only some versions of starforce were truly effective but a workaround for the earlier versions was to unplug your dvd/cd drives rofl

The only thing people have been banned from are the forums.

I think Batman wouldn't allow you to glide which was necessary to avoid some Joker Gas otherwise you couldn't progress.

This means their Steam accounts can then be banned. (UPDATE: Garry has since confirmed to Bit-Gamer that accounts are not being banned, as was originally reported.)

That sounds more like they were under the impression they were banning steam accounts and Garry had to correct them. I could be wrong but thats what it seems like.
