That would make a lot more sense if the prison sentence wasn't 30 years after the sexual abuse.

Plenty of volunteers to chew Gary Glitter up and then **** him out, I reckon.
So, find someone to wring his neck (again, no shortage of volunteers) and then put the body to fertilise a vegetable patch somewhere... Sell the veg and donate the money to his victims.

Does he still get any royalties for his music at all? I know he didn't for the joker film as shown above, but I don't know if he would still get them from elsewhere. In situations like this they could do with confiscating it for another cause.

I don't think even the most liberal view of Glitter can justify him being released.
He crossed over in to physically interfering with kids, AND done it multiple times.

Yes he does, he still rakes in 250k a year in royalties, mostly from the USA.
The UK don't ever play anything of his so no UK royalties
One less celebrity in one of the the local prisons here. What they failed to mention is that he's been living in a half way house on Weymouth harbourside for a fair while. When I used to drive into the office really early you'd see him sat on the harbour wall having a cigarette.
I wonder what he'll do considering he's persona non grata in this country? I also think that he's fairly big target for vigilantes regardless of where he goes and his earnings can't possibly afford security for that... he's still in a prison of a sort but now he's got no protection.
