Gary Moore - dead

Very sad loss, was a very decent guitarist...

Saw Thin Lizzy back in 1974/75, but he wasn't part of the lineup at that time if I remember correctly...

Really like his album "Back On The Streets"...

I am very sad to hear that.

We play several Thin Lizzie and Gary Moore songs that he has written or covered incuding Red House in our band set and kick off with Don't Believe a Word. Genius and very influential with scorching talent.

I hope he has found peace.

Even a minute or so slot in a song he could turn to magic as he did in the 1987 cover of Let It Be for the Zeebrugge ferry disaster appeal. Gary Moore and Mark Knopler bouncing off each other is literally music to the ears.

and lets not forget this one, I still remember jumping around my bedroom playing air guitar to this, for those that haven't heard of Gary Moore may I suggest you skip to 2:33 to hear an utterly incredible rock guitar solo.

RIP Gary, one of my very favorites :(
