Gas Boiler Issue

Hi Mick,

Thanks for replying. Just to double check... I was told by one of the engineers, when they came out in March, that the boiler will occasionally fire up to keep things flowing and avoid any blockages occurring, even though there was no demand for hot water or heating.

Is this correct? Or should the boiler always be on 0 and only fire up once there is a demand?

Yeah I don't think the boiler is that advanced ;)
It doesn't even have frost protection or pump overrun!

The Isar has a preheat and overrun feature, but that's the combi version.

Think someone has misinformed you.

Mick

Thank you. I asked the first guy that home serve sent for the heath check and he had no clue so asked the second guy when the pump needed replacing and he said it was normal
