Gas duster alternative?

You will need some sort of 12v adapter for a car cigarette lighter socket...

That thing is used to inflate car tyres i think. Might be a little too high pressure and a bit OTT for cleaning your pc?
 
Any 12v DC transformer that can supply the required current (Check label)
A 12v car battery charger will suffice.

Totally ott tbh, as are the expensive air dusters. Been using a good quality paintbrush and hoover for nearly 10years without any ESD deaths, plus the compressed air method is rubbish for getting ground in hard to remove dust.
 
i use one of these ................ just cut the end off of one of the nozzles to give a straight jet of air......... gives you a good work out as well. :)

My dad's garage PC's PSU gave up the ghost the other year and before he bought it back for me to fit a new one he set the garage air line on it. I'm sure there's probably some pressure in one of those but I've got to say it was the cleanest PC I've ever seen (at least the inside was - the outside was still all covered in oily marks). It's still going now a couple of years later so I'm sure it did it no harm!!
