Gas fitter quoted me £625 to supply 5 radiators, fit them all and also to shift some pipework for proper installation as well as removing some pipework for a radiator that we are removing. That sound reasonable? Pretty sure its a good quote as the guy is a friend of a friend but not too certain.

Introduce me to your friend, I need quotes like that.

Move your plot of land to the north for a weekend for starters.

Get work done.

Move plot back to Surrey.

yeah thats nice as long as the paperwork is kosher

He'll be walking out the door minus a testicle or two if the paperwork isnt in order, especially considering how anal regulations are about stuff like that these days.

Thanks for the help all, I was pretty sure the quote was a good one but just wanted to check. Knew the leccy, plasterer and joiner myself but the gas fitter was on recomendation as a friend of a friend so just wanted to check the price was as good as the rest i've got

What paperwork would be needed? He's replacing radiators, I can't think of any notifiable work involved.
Also, just out of interest why use a gas fitter specifically rather than a general plumber? There's no gas in a radiator. Just interested..... quote itself sounds fine although personally I'd be doing it myself anyway.

thats one hell of a boiler!

I got 7 quotes here in Belgium ranging from 6300 euro to 9500 euro... :(

It's a wiessman though which I have been told by one and all are great.

My brother just installed a boiler at my mums for 1.5K fitted... lol

I assumed that due to the specific mention of a gas fitter that some of the "piping" being moved were gas lines.
