Got a new barbeque recently and came to connect it up to the propane tank i use for my pizza oven. However the fitting that came with the barbeque is different.

I went to use the one off the pizza oven, but the hose that came with the bbq is a smaller inner diameter and has a screw fitting at the bbq end (pizza oven is just another jubilee clip).

BBQ connector is the triangle one. I think i remember that fittings are regional and so presumably this isn't a Spanish fitting which is annoying.

Does hose diameter matter? Just trying to work out what is the easiest component to swap without causing any issues.

No, as long as it'll physically fit it won't matter.

All that stuff is easy to get hold of on eBay here anyway, I dunno about Spain.

Cheers, I've never really used gas before and so always a little cautious. Looking online it seems the fitting that came with the bbq is a UK regulator.

Will try and find my calipers to measure the internal pipe diameter and head to the local hardware store.

That red triangle thing looks the same as my Ooni gas connector. It just plugs straight on top of a patio gas propane tank. (Once you remove the yellow plastic seal on the tank)

Stupidly different countries use different fittings so my propane bottle will be different to your UK one.
