Gas to Induction Hob

Only thing i dislike about mine is the touch controls don't like wet fingers or indeed any water splashes.

I think jpaul was saying the induction bit would be cheaper to run but also retains gas for wok and griddle.

I didn’t consider running costs at all

Per your original correct response,( your comprehension isn't so bad), gas is cheaper per Kwh, but, yes, also less efficient,
can't see link I posted before but that suggest 2x the energy is used with gas, vs induction, but if your gas is 1/4 cost of electric ... I'll let you do the math
( maybe you have a cheaper amortized unit cost if you are running batteries / load shifting,)
