Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem.

I want to go to this, just to listen to The Prodigy and their (finally) new tunes, but £70 for a ticket that includes postage and booking fee) then train fare there and back on top of that :(

Would have loved to go to this but I'm running in the Edinburgh Marathon that weekend.

Saw the Prodigy in Newcastle a couple of years back and they were awesome - would have been good seeing them live again. :(

Got my ticket in the post yesterday :) Deffinately going to be there for Yoda's Cinema show. I also saw High Contrast at Detonate a few weeks back and he played a banging set, will be seeing him again deffinately!

Who else has tickets here? Are you camping or just going for 1 day?

Rob (excited :p )

checked out them out this year were pretty good. My highlights were kissy sell out and justice, as well as prodigy, and paul van dyk.

Was an amazing weekend, slightly marred by the fact that somebody died!, and that the acts on sunday weren't allowed to perfom on the main stage, otherwise amazing.

Heard it was pretty poorly run...

I didn't see what the fuss was about really, yeah it rained a fair bit, and it was slightly muddy, nowhere as bad as global gathering last year. and everything else seemed pretty good, only complaint i have is not seeing chemical brothers on the main stage.

As for getting in, drove there at about 10 o clock, drove straigh in and parked, queued up for about 20 mins and set up our camp no hassle. I rember global last year, had to queue in cars to get in, queud for about an hour and a half to get into the campsite, when suddenly about five they just let everyone run in basically, and the campsite was an absolute mess.

And they knew it was going to be bad because it had flooded the week before, no walkways or anything. Gatecrasher was run, or looked like it was run far better in my opinion.

To be honest i get the feeling they didnt ever sell enough tickets, had the weather not been bad i coulldnt have faulted the weekend one bit. They just didnt handled the repercussions of the bad weather very well!

Me and my mates went to global last year and in comparison to that it was truely brilliant. The prodigy were incredible, DJ Yoda was immense (wana see him again very soon) even if we had to storm the security/barriers to get in! The fact that it took literally 4 minutes to get from our tent to the first arena, not even VIP!

The drinks prices were extortionate but we had nigh on 100 cans for the weekend between 4 of us so that wasn't much of an issue. My mate had an issue with theft though. He was at the front barriers for Prodigy, he looked down to see someone elses hand in his pocket! So he turned round and punched him to the floor, then everyone around helped pick him up and throw him over the crowd barrier! Highlight of the weekend for me!

I had a brilliant time despite the weather. :)
