Apologies guys - won't be able to make it as family coming down this weekend - I kinda lost track of the thread when it went silent for a while & assumed it was off.

My bad, will strive the make the next one - had a laugh at the one I went to a couple of years ago.

Are you referring to me? Because if you are - I didn't say your friend was not welcome to the Christmas meet. I had to book a table for dinner and I had already accounted for you and your wife because you were on the 'attending' list. Your mate wasn't, so when he turned up I simply asked you if he was joining for dinner because I had only made dinner reservation for the named people on the attending list, and if he was joining then I had to call up and see if they can add an extra space. But then you took this the wrong way and decided to leave with your wife and mate instead.

Yeah, what I did was being considerate and asking if your mate was joining for dinner so that I can add him on. You're clearly dwelling on something that happened over six months ago because you seem to have made 2 petty comments in this thread about it ;)
