Could we decide to use just the one benchmarking program that gives the most realistic results? Although I;m guessing theres no such thing

Agreed No disrespect to Gregster but its just another Overclocking Thread. The Nvidia drivers/AMD drivers should be sticky before anything like that.
sorry, the Benchmark sub forums is a no. The benchmark threads will be added to a section in the sticky.

Its a guide that allows AMD users to increase the power limit of cards to +50%. This is very handy for 7950 boost cards as if you overclock with them evetually the card will throttle once it reaches the normal 20% limit. This guide allows to increase the power limit and remove the throttling of boost cards.

New sticky is in a private area at the moment and added most of the above.. I've noticed there's now generic NVIDIA overclocking guide as we have with AMD?
I have this morning created the "Useful links" sticky which replaces a couple of existing sticky threads. The purpose of this is to have a a quick reference for ongoing popular threads, such as AMD/Intel driver discussions, benchamrks etc based on suggestions in this thread. I've also added some useful links to external sites which may be of some use.
The specific overclocking threads, such as the Titian overclocking thread, have been released as these have a limited shelf life.. so to speak.
If there's anything you'd like added, just post here of let a member of the Mod team know.

This is true but they aren't sticky worthy as they are soon superseded.

I have added a miscellaneous sections for specific make/models for useful guides only. I didn't want to flood the sticky with links otherwise it will just water down the important stuff so only guides for recent models will be added. Once they are discontinued, i'll remove them from the list.

EDIT: Nevermind, reading fail
Adding a post with the "archived" stickies would be useful - rather than removing them completely. Not everyone will have a top of the range card, and may get one once they are no longer "in vogue" - keeping a list of the archived threads will allow this excellent information to still be found easily.
