GDC PS3 Tech Demos

Nothing new really bit of in game of unreal at beginning and the ducks what we saw at e3. The fish in sea was good but to be honest id rather see more of games then these Tech demos. :)
 
I presume we're talking about the 3min 31sec video montage. No ducks in it at all.

Wow, there's some very, very nice footage in there, and the majority of stuff there is actually believeable in terms of graphics and detail. Probably because some of the stuff looked a bit half-next-gen, like sonic.

I'm still calling BS on the footage from the rally/drit game, as those vids I've seen before, and most of the stuff in them aren't believeable in the slightest to me.

Anybody notice the Killzone 'footage'? That was from a desktop, with the text "You're looking at the key to winning the console war" underneath? Made me giggle.
 
Ah ive just seen that now very good cant wait until game site get their hand on them so can see some better previews.

Games im looking forward to are Killzone, Getaway, Gran Turismo looks awesome. :)

Those GT vids were probably the most unimpressive, though they're just the GT Vision thingy, which is a slightly improved version of GT4 graphics I think.

Still waiting on some real Killzone Footage, Getaway should be interesting if they make London stupidly accurately.

Ye they wasnt the best same with formula 1 game they seemed to be generated videos im sure their be more on the games in coming months going by 360 graphics they should be good. :)

Agreed, though the majority of stuff in that vid is likely to be 'in-game' footage, it will really mean nothing until we see some decent, 'playing' footage, especially from MGS4, and Killzone (:p)

When comparing the demonstration to the teaser trailer shown at E3, the game manages to come across convincingly although unsurprisingly not quite to the jaw-dropping standard of the original video. The particle effects were somewhat distant from level of quality of the E3 ‘05 trailer, looking very temporary at this stage of development. Being still in the production phase however, we expect these particle effects will be tightened up as the game nears launch. Fortunately the gameplay already shows signs of achieving the frantic nature of the E3 2005 teaser video.
