GDDR3 and DDR?

LOTS GDDR3 is the only real thing worth buying atm. Don't even touch anything without it.
 
There aren't any remotely good graphics cards using normal DDR RAM.

Which graphics cards are you looking at? Silly just posting a question without context, it might well just be a mistake somewhere.
 
Not entirely true, XFX make a very good 6600 with DDR2, that is very good in its price segemnt! But otherwise the above statement is true GDDR3 is the only real choice, oh and GDDR4 will be on some of the new cards coming soon :)
 
Thats normal GDDR, GDDR3 was used on the faster models ie. GT's and Ultras.

I might be a mile off here but it was something like 700MHz vs 1GHz.
