Gears of War 2 MP Game Arranging Thread

I was kidding I knew it would draw Si out ;)

Even if you play alone with bots all the kills and weapon achievements add up. Its quite good too if only a couple of people are on to have one on each team with 4 bots.
 
Yeah I quite enjoyed the training levels.

But you can stick it on one v one with minute rounds. They wont find you in the minute so the round draws and repeats until theres a winner... :p

Wyrdo what happened to you last night? I thought your box must have died. I mortared your team and then realised you wasn't there?

I'm back at work tommorow, when do you want to start insania.
 
Yeah my 360 completely locked up, then as I was coming back on one of the kids was up then my evening just kinda went to **** so I gave up in the end :p

I wanted to play, I was really tempted but you know what it's like when you have a game you want to get through first :)

Plus the switchover from Gears to COD controls keeps messing me up for a bit. Especially the run and melee.
 
Danny, Overall the games were terrible anyway =/

If we don't have atleast 7 or 8 people to play a custom I'm just probably going to stick Halo 3 on, since I am sick and tired of all the lag just because some fatass american gets a better ping to the server then I do, Matchmaking in this game is a total joke...

I can't see this game lasting me to the end of the year anyway because most people are going to stop playing after a few weeks like they usually do and leave the us to it.
 
Yeah we had a few games the other night against yanks and sadly the lag was awful. You could stand behind someone zoomed in with a shot gun and the hits didn't register.

I really enjoy it online in private matches though and think it will last the duration. I just knew the next fortnight will be a rough time to get games with everyone first wanting to finish the story atleast once, then COD and the week after Rockband2.

I wish one of them had been released in the spring when there is sod all on the market.

Too true, if their isn't enough quality games coming out they release Rockband 2 and Guitar Hero 4 at the same time with a £150 for the full package! Hopefully if i get a job interview soon i'll be able to get RB2.

btw Friday night Gears anyone tommorow?

Im too skint to go out so i'll be drinking at home.
 
Been too busy trying the L4D demo. At first I was really unsure about it, but it's grown on me to the point where I sneak in games before I go to work :)

Will probably be looking to play some Horde tomorrow (starting in morning maybe) to see how far can get.
