Howzit guys.

Just got this card about two weeks ago. Very nice card, however I have it running in my Shuttle, which was quite. However with this new card, it's now very loud. Is there anyway I could turn the fan speed down a little or something and crank it up when I play games?

ATI's control panel doesnt do it. :(

oh noes. if my memory serves me correctly, the gecube agp cards don't even have a temp sensor on them and no software fan control.... :(

you could try installing ati tool but i don't think you'll have any joy..... :o

Why are you gaming on a shuttle, aren't they meant for media tvs

Some people like extra floor/desk space and the portability a small form factor brings. They're PC's as much as any full tower is and are just as powerful.

Your signature is 10 pixels too high by the way.

I didn't ask the forum to ask me why I am gaming on a Shuttle system. I asked if it was possible to make the fan quiter. Also, for your infomation my Shuttle system is just happy playing all games just fine. Like the above post, I like it because it's smaller and takes up less floor/desk space.

That is why.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like I'll just deal with it, lol. :(

Just a thought but would it be possible to attach *** fan connector to some sort of fan controller via and adapter so you can control it manually?

Maybe an connector on the motherboard or something?

Well, I started speed fan, however I don't see the fan control's anywhere..:(

Any help guys?

speed fan? you mean ati tool? speedfan has never been able to control a gpu as far as i know....

in ati tool, there is a settings button and then select fan control from the drop down list. here's an old screenshot of it from my card (sapphire x1950pro agp)...
