Geekbench 6

Geekbench is a multi platform benchmark, Cinebench will only run on PCs and Macs not iPads, iPhones and Android phones. Can you explain how it’s biased?
favours apple chips and caters it to them. There was a breakdown somewhere which actually confirms this too. Apple use geekbench in their charts because they know what tests geekbench do and they cater their chips to do better in those specific tests.

Hence why there are some big discrepancies sometimes when using different benchmarks

Ran Cinebench 24 in single core mode to test my AMD 7950X3D Vs Mac Mini M4...

My 7950X3D runs a bit slower then others, it should score about 121 but it shows that the M4 is faster than the 7950X3D in single core scoring 180 which Geekbench 6 shows as well.

In multicore mode my AMD 7950X3D scores 2045 but should score about 2108 the Mac Mini M4 should score about 972 but I'm not going to run it as I don't want to kill it.

Again Geekbench 6 is right that the 7950X3D is faster in multicore but not in single core. So Cinebench and Geekbench 6 correlate with each other.

I don't care about them, but I run them just to see. Once I've run them I don't think about them again, I'm not obsessed with benchmarks.

When M-series chips came out, lots of PCMR people (some on these forums) kept refusing to believe these chips are any good and kept insisting these are all biased results, any benchmark that showed great performance must have been biased, Geekbench was bad, Cinebench was bad, Spec is bad, etc...

nice results, interesting

Can you run the multicore test on both too? Thats what im interested in seeing

So basically over double the performance in MC on the M4 vs 7950x? Interesting

Wonder how the M4 Pro and M4 Max fair, I suspect the Max may even beat the 7950x or at least get very close
