***Geforce 7600GT Owners Thread***

Advanced View still doesnt bring up this option.

Coolbits I have Googled, and it says I need to add something to the registry.

What happens if i want to "uninstall" coolbits once I've added it to the registry?

is 590/1600 worth overclocking?

Steve :)

Yes it is there now I have changed to Classic view!

Is "clock frequencies" there on yours DVD Cinema?

Where you live in Leicester, I live there too! :)

Again is 590/1600 worth trying to overclock?

Steve :)

got a 7600GT with a factory fitted Zalman VF700 cooler, nice and silent, great performance for the price, OC'd mine to: 625MHz/1.6GHz.

Yes Clock Frequencies is there on mine. Auto Clock works well, the one time I tried it.

I have a XTX 7300GT with no fan and a 630 P4 3.0 GHz btw.

Come on City ;) .

DVD Cinema have you installed COOLBITS?

Oh yes come on City!!

Do you go to the games? where do you sit if you do?

Thats quite a nice clock, it seems my GPU will go to 640 on the default fan but the ram only reaches 1550 :( just shy of most peoples 1.6Ghz!
How safe is the voltmod and also has anyone used it on the stock coolers or after they put a Zalman on it?

Not tried Coolbits with this card as it hasn't got a fan and it's quick enough for what I want to do.

Overclocking options aren't there with 91.45.

I don't go to the games, I listen to all the games on radio Leicester.

Did the Zalman make a difference to your overclock mav?
Im gonna try overclocking my CPU but have no idea about voltage timings etc! I should be able to clock it a lot more I think!
Same with the card I believe it can go faster than this!

it made absolutly no difference to the overclock, all it did was lower the temperatures.

lets make this post more interesting....hehe....heres my 7600gt on the loose...

Did any of you guys use the drivers that came on the disk with the 3DFusion card? I found that the stock fan was silent in Windows and only spun up in games. As soon as I updated to the latest nVidia drivers the fan was always audible even in Windows and spun up even faster when in games. Does anyone know a way around it?

U can use RivaTuner to alter the fan speeds, mines is fairly silent on windows desktop and goes to 65% when on 3d apps! I think these cards need a zalman tbh!
