yea steve i musta installed coolbits n not remembered =S, but anyway i installed the new driver n it works fine ,not noticed any difference in fps cos i have cod2 @ constant 125 anyway ill take off the limit n see what happens.
 
I dont know whats going on, but I seem to be lagging in Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer.

If you play COD2 on a 7600GT, could you pop on this server and stay there for 10mins, and when you are running about, see if you lag or the screen goes jumpy for like 2 seconds a lot of times.

ill do the same, do you just have the control panel temp setting open and minimise to see the temp every so often? also what are your core/mem speeds again?
 
Well I just got my card installed and running. I ran a quick 3dmark06 on my old 9800pro beforehand and got a huge 518 marks.
I am using the 91.31 drivers off the nvidia site and I am getting a score of 2930. Though this destroys my 9800pro, I think it should be quite a bit higher than this.
My other specs are:
opteron 144 @ 2.2GHz (could probably go faster)
2GB PC3200 RAM
ASRock Mobo (the agp/pcie 939 one)

So, could I do better? Think I'll go try bf2, at least that will be better than the old setup!
 
hmm, wonder why you only get 2000+ i get 6422 with the spec in my sig, faster cpu but less ram, wonder why its that low =S
 
because hooneeawr ran 3d mark 06, whereas that is youre score for 3d mark 05 ;)

for stock i think that score is about right anyway, with the opteron clocked faster the score would shoot up :cool:

you should be looking at mid-high 6000s with a GT, i get a shave over 7100 with one card, but since i installed the second 3D mark refuses to work :(
