GeForce 8800 GT Overkill?

Just a question, guys do ya recon this card would last about 18 months if you don't mind medium-low details, I really want the 8800GT I've ordered to last as long as my 6800GS.

Yep Dirt, 4xAA Ultra settings except for shadow (reverts back to high even when manually set to ultra). That's in XP though, just had a go in Vista and fps dropped to 21 sometimes, plus force feedback is disabled for the PS2 controller :mad:
