Hi there

NVIDIA have spent a lot of time and research on their GeForce Experience, I remember seeing it back in April at a NVIDIA conference and it was rather impressive.

Well now it is finally ready, here is some blurb:-

GeForce Experience - Auto-Optimise Your Games Want to know the best settings to play your games? GeForce Experience will figure it out for you. GeForce Experience connects you to NVIDIA's cloud datacenter to download optimal game settings tailored to your PC based on your CPU, GPU and monitor. Optimal settings maximize image quality while maintaining great performance so you get the best experience. A built-in interactive screenshot viewer helps you learn more about each setting and their benefits.

OcUK Downlink Link: Coming in 24-48hrs

NVIDIA are limiting this download to 10,000 downloads, however OcUK have managed to obtain the file which we shall be hosting shortly.

If your a gamer who is not so technical knowledge or is unsure on what in-game settings are the best for your PC specification this new software from NVIDIA will do it and make it very easy for you, so give it a try. :)

Good stuff but it does look like a crutch for the more inexperienced PC gamers. Personally to me it's just another programme running the the background that I don't need.

Sorry but no.
Like the idea, but like Marvelous, I feel its just another irrelevant program hogging space.

Lol, what year are you in mate? We have plenty of storage and I'm sure we can spare 3mb of ram.

Seriously are people still worried about background apps? I stopped tweaking windows after XP, and have noticed no difference.

Looks a useful tool.

As the blurbs say, saves wasting time spending half your day trying this a 4x and that at High vs the other at Ultra with something else at Medium but maybe turning this back to 8x wasn't doing anything etc. etc. etc. etc.

I don't buy into the idea you need to be inexperienced to not want to waste time configuring a game to it's optimum rather than just playing it.

this is a very well thought out project from nvidia. i'd never need it but a program that auto sets optimal settings for every game including ones without autodetect is very neat. sounds like the db for this will be more comprehensive than default game ones; it's gonna have screenshots explaining each feature, and a wide frame of reference. for those who want to start a game and play it flawlessly without touching it this is clearly a very decent program. (surprising it's taken this long to come up with one though ha)

I think it's a good start, however it could be much better with some more options.

I.e. Maybe I want to optimise my game and have the best settings I can to get a constant 60 FPS, there could be a setting to get that. Maybe I want to optimise so I get a constant 40 FPS and have better settings. Maybe I want to optimise with low AA but high shaders, maybe I want to optimise with No physX and everything else on high, etc.

If they could do that, I'd probably use it, for convenience sake, just so I don't have to mess about with the settings myself constantly to get a playable frame rate and google what settings in particular games kill FPS. But I have my own preferences of what I personally like turned onto high or low, which may not match what this program suggests.

I just have an OCD about stuff like this and clutter in general. I've managed fine all these years without this piece of software, i'm sure i'll manage in the near future.

Honestly when I see stuff like this release the only people I think will download this are the ones with 8 different media player, 5 different anti-virus programmes (all running at the same time of course) and those God awful, cancer like browser add-ons for different search engines.

Only for GeForce 400, 500, 600 cards pfff

From Nvidia "Hi Currently don't support Core 2 but we are looking into it." missed the boat again Nvidia
