can anyone tell me if i have wasted money on buying this "recommended" card for gaming , or if there is anyway of getting it to perform better , i can play cod mw2 but only low level m cheers

not really , it was recommended as entry level gaming card , i wanted the 250 but was told this was as good , it will have to do for now then go into my first build

Who on earth recommended the 210 as an Entry Level Gaming card???
I would only mention it as an entry level Display adaptor, if that!!!

If he thinks it is so good, get him to buy it off you so you can buy a Real Gaming card ;)

P.S. What is the rest of your spec???

9400, which was an 8400 before, now it's a G210, and it's being re-branded to a GT310.

Geforce? GeFarce more like!

While for all intents and purposes its about right - thats not entirely correct technically - its closer to an 8500GT renamed 9400GT performance wise but its not on the old G86/96 core but a new DX10.1 core with better internal color precision, filtering, etc. which you can notice all the more clearly at slideshow fps. Its also clocked a little higher...

I bought a couple of 8500GT for media PC builds - but found they overclock like crazy... so for a laugh benched 2 of them in SLI running almost +80% overclocks... was about half the speed of an 8800GT :D
