Geforce GTX 780 Ti to end up faster than Titan

The 780ti will need to be faster than the Titan at stock. A lot of people think the 290X is faster without realizing that when you factor in overclocking the 780 / Titan are faster. Nvidia will need to release a new GPU with higher stock speeds to cater for those that don't overclock..

It's just comments like this that sparked me. Normally I just ignore it but I'm clock watching so I'm bound to flame till I can play with my new red bits...

My comments are not based on what I can and can't personally afford they are based on the simple fact the Titan was overpriced. Nvidia though as wrong as it was had every right to do this with the position they were in having no competitors.

It still doesn't change the fact it was stupidly expensive, doesn't matter if you can afford to buy 4 in SLI you would have still preferred them to be cheaper and you cant deny that.

I'd prefer it if all cards were cheaper. The thing is prices aren't actually that bad when you look at how much X1950 and 8800 ultras sold for nearly 8 years ago.

It takes a hell of a lot more to get performance increases nowadays.

This really, hell if 3DFX had managed to keep the administrators out until the 6000 launched it was supposed to cost the same as a Titan (in today's money).
