As title:

can you get different quality Geiger counters? Maybe some that measure more accurately than others. Or a more accurate GM tube? Or is it just of a universal accuracy?
Thanks

I got a Tesco value one and it worked ok. Last time i buy warheads from the Ukrainians though I Promise you.

I got one in poundland and it was ****. Still on the plus side, had it warned me of the impending radiation earlier, I probably wouldn't have turned into a wicked bad mutant.

Just poke your finger into whatever substance it is you wish to check, if it comes out glowing green or falls off, it is probably radioactive.

You'll only get 10 goes though, so use sparingly.

Also: how would you be able to calculate the uncertainty of a Geiger counter? I imagine that with the one I've been using, it could be pretty significant, around 20-30% or even more
