I know a reg is just a reg and some people are probably going to moan, but personally with a cherished plate I think those new "gel" plates look very smart, plus you can have either domed gel or laser cut.

Has anyone got these? If so please can you recommend a good online supplier.

Thanks

I got one for the wife, does look much smarter than I expected. Was an online company number1plates I think.

Edit: Yeh just checked my emails it was them.

Edit2: much nicer than that ebay picture! Ghastly.

They make the plate stick out to much against the car. I go completely plain, no fancy stuff and no markings at all except for the reg itself. Looks much neater tbh.

Controversial opinion but to me they looking ******* terrible and scream out that the owner is probably an absolute twonk.

Good evening, OP. Lol

I just ordered a set of plates from legal show plates.com and they were good quality.

Not the ones your after but there in the options.

Great thanks I'll check them out.

I too am against illegal spacing, illegal fonts, misrepresentation, having a little logo of your favourite football team or a snazzy slogan, However as mentioned I think the raised lettering looks smart.

I hope all the haters have got in touch with the manufacturer of their cars and given them a good telling off for daring to sell a car with the make and model displayed in raised lettering!

Why would you? Aside all the other comments, they look like a pain in the arse to clean properly.

I saw one the other day, didn't really have a strong opinion either way. Why do number plates create such strong reactions in people?
