Gen 8 Microserver memory...

What memory do I need for a Gen 8 microserver? Can I run a 2GB and 4GB together?

Can someone give me a link to both 2GB and 4GB modules that I need please?

Well it needs to be non-registered ECC. Kingston is known to be compatible.

I am not sure about mixing module sizes.

I think you can mix sizes there are a few posts on one of the threads about people running the original 2GB with an 8GB stick (needs to be ECC UDIMM) but have a look at Al you need to know about the Gen8 and more There's a thread on compatible ram and what will/will not work.

Now that's the right attitude!

I upgraded mine using crucial memory selector... same size as the original tho, 4GB in that machine is pretty much enough for my usage...

I think it depends on how you ask and if you ask like that...

No one here is obliged to answer and they may not necessarily know the answer or be sure enough to let you risk buying them. Remember that this forum section is one of the least frequented.
